Are all Dutch Passion original strains tested and certified?
Yes. Working closely with various Dutch Government offices including the Dutch Office Of Economic Affairs allows all seeds to be exported from the Netherlands with full documentation. You can relax in the knowledge that you are getting the finest quality Dutch Passion cannabis seeds with all the necessary certificates. Many of the countries that import Dutch Passion seeds via Dupacan insist of full certification, especially when Government agencies, Research Labs or Pharmaceutical Companies are buying the seeds.
What are the highest-THC varieties from Dutch Passion?
The Dutch Passion High THC cannabis seed collection is home to the 15, or so, strains with the highest THC levels. In optimised conditions you can expect THC levels around 25-30% from these THC rich strains.
What are the highest-CBD varieties from Dutch Passion?
In the CBD rich cannabis seed collection you will find the best CBD rich strains, such as CBD Charlotte’s Angel which can produce around 15% CBD in the dried buds. You can select CBD strains with no THC, or with a 1:1 THC:CBD ratio.
Do CBD-Rich varieties contain less than 0,2% THC?
Strains such as CBD Charlotte’s Angel tend to contain less than 1% THC. But careful selection of mother plants would allow you to select only those with the lowest THC levels below 0.2%. Those wanting a strain which always has less than 0.2% THC should consider growing CBG-Force. It has up to 15% CBG with THC below 0.2%
What are the best yielding varieties from Dutch Passion?
Strains such as The Ultimate and Auto Ultimate, Critical Orange Punch, Amsterdam Amnesia, Desfrán and Power Plant are notably heavy yielders. Note that some licensed growers have become autoflower converts and get regular harvests (every 10-12 weeks) with heavy yields and 20%+ THC levels.
What are the best recommended varieties for indoor legal grow ops?
Call us and speak about your specific grow requirements and let our specialists guide you to choose the best strains to suit your needs and goals. With good indoor conditions most strains should grow well. But some are better for multi-level grows, others excel in yield. Newer licensed growers are strongly advised to start with wider-latitude strains. It’s a complicated topic which needs serious individual discussions.
What are the best recommended varieties for outdoor legal grow ops?
The Dutch Outdoor cannabis seed collection is the best starting point. But you will want to consider environmental factors such as the length of your grow season etc. Both photoperiod feminised strains as well as autoflower strains should be considered. As well as fine quality seeds, Dutch Passion also offer professional consultancy services for all aspects of cannabis cultivation for indoor, outdoor and greenhouse legal cannabis production.
Feminised cannabis seeds
Feminised cannabis seeds give rise to 95%+ female plants. By using feminised seeds you can eliminate the hassle of dealing with male plants. This saves time, growing space and money. Many serious licensed growers base the bulk of their cannabis production on feminised seeds. Dutch Passion seeds deliver great consistency, as you would expect from the company that first invented feminised seeds in the 1990’s.
These feminised seeds comprise a mixture of fine quality indica, sativa or hybrid cannabis genetics. Most of the genetics are THC rich, but the advanced breeding from the Special Cannabinoids team means that you can also choose strains rich in THCV, CBDV, CBG or CBD.

Autoflowering cannabis seeds
Autoflowering cannabis seeds are often regarded as the ultimate in simplicity when it comes to cannabis cultivation. They grow from seed to harvest in around 10-12 weeks. Indoors, this is best done with 20 hours of daily light from seed to harvest. Autoflower strains start to bloom ‘automatically’ often around 4-6 weeks after germination. THC/total cannabinoid content from autoflowers is just as high as those from traditional photoperiod feminised strains.
Yields-per-plant may be somewhat lower than the heaviest yielding feminised plants, but with a fast ~11 week grow cycle many legal, licensed growers have found autoflower seeds to be the perfect way to create harvest after harvest of top-grade buds. Autoflower seeds also grow extremely well outdoors and in greenhouses.
Autoflower seeds have proven to be very popular with European private and commercial growers. They grow into female plants under any light cycle indoors or outdoors and produce plants which are generally around a metre tall with ample side branching. THC levels of over 25% are routinely recorded by licensed growers using Dutch Passion autoflowering cannabis seeds. Indoor yields of around 3-4 ounces/100g per plant are not uncommon.
Regular cannabis seeds
Since the arrival of high THC feminised seeds and autoflower seeds, regular cannabis seeds have become less popular. Regular seeds produce crops that are roughly 50/50 male/female cannabis plants. For most growers the male plants are an unnecessary inconvenience and need disposing of. But for some old-school growers and those looking to breed their own strains, a solid collection of proven cannabis-cup winning regular cannabis strains is a perfect starting point.
